BRIGHT DISPLAY ANNOUNCES DEVASTATION AFTER CALIFORNIA’S CAMP FIRE SEVERELY DAMAGES CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
Company Coordinates Efforts to Help Employees
Paradise, California - November 16, 2018 - Bright Display, an industry leader in optical dispensary displays design and manufacturing, has lost its corporate headquarters in the worst wildfire in California’s history. Known as the Camp Fire, it has devastated the company’s home town of Paradise, California. To date, the fire is responsible for the loss of over 63 lives and over 10,000 homes in this town of 26,000, located 85 miles north of Sacramento.
Owned, operated and housed by Fashion Optical Displays, the company’s immediate focus is assisting its employees and neighbors as fire and emergency crews continue to contend with the aftermath of the blaze. FOD President Matthew Kiraly says business has been suspended due to heavy losses and asks for customers’ patience as it has not gained complete access to Facility. The company is in the process of securing a temporary office to maintain business operations.
“As we work to assess the safety of our employees, our heart goes out to so many of our friends, neighbors and employees, who have lost so much over this past week,” says Kiraly. The company has organized a GoFundMe campaign, designed to help its 32 employees rebuild their lives. To date, more than $5,000 has been raised towards a goal of $100,000.
